About Us
Allaire Accounting LLC is a bookkeeping and accounting service based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, serving small businesses and property owners remotely nationwide.
I'm Tim Allaire, and I started this business because too many owners get stuck working in their business instead of on it. The invoices, the receipts, the reconciling at midnight — it's constant, it's urgent, and it crowds out the work that actually determines whether the business grows: pricing, cash flow, where the margin is, what to do next. Plenty of otherwise healthy companies stall out there, not because the work stopped coming in, but because nobody had the time to look up.
I hold a bachelor's degree in accounting and an MBA, with five years of experience as a Senior Accountant, Consultant, Financial Analyst, and Staff Accountant across a range of industries. Analyst and consulting work taught me to look past the ledger and ask what the numbers are actually telling you — and that's the perspective I bring to every client.

Experience behind the books
Every role I’ve held has come back to the same job: getting the numbers right and making them useful to the people who depend on them. I’ve worked across the whole cycle. That includes day-to-day entries, the month-end close, reporting to leadership, and building the accounting systems that finance teams run on. Here is some of the experience that has shaped the way I work today.
-
Government, Nonprofit & Healthcare Clients (Sept 2025 - Present)
I lead Workday Financials implementations for accounting and finance teams, turning the way an organization actually runs its books into a system built to support it.
Lead implementation projects from discovery through go-live. I’m the main point of contact between client finance teams and the internal project team.
Run working sessions with accounting and finance teams to understand their business, current processes, legacy systems and reporting goals before any configuration starts.
Configure financial structures, accounting rules and business-process workflows around each client’s chart of accounts and close process.
Adapt each build to the reporting needs of government, nonprofit and healthcare organizations, where how money is tracked matters as much as the total.
Test and validate that transactions, balances and reports tie out, so clients go live with numbers they can trust.
Provide post-production support for clients after go-live, staying on to resolve issues, refine configurations and help finance teams get comfortable running their new system.
-
Manufacturing (Jan 2024 - Sept 2025)
Assisted with month-end reconciliations and period closeouts, delivering accurate financials on corporate deadlines.
Managed full-cycle payables and receivables: coding and posting bills, purchase orders and recurring charges; issuing invoices; applying payments; and running AR aging reports that kept collections current.
Delivered biweekly payroll analysis to the CFO, COO, President and Director of Finance to support executive planning.
Produced weekly production analyses that gave operations leadership insights they could act on.
Maintained bank feeds and data integrity in the company’s ERP, and kept books for multiple retail locations.
Prepared monthly compliance reporting for the company’s banking partner.
-
Public Accounting · Part-Time (Summer 2023)
Performed bank reconciliations for business and individual clients.
Reconstructed client books from source documents where records were incomplete or missing.
Assisted with individual and business tax return preparation, and supported an audit engagement.
-
Food Service & Catering · Part-Time (2020 - 2022)
Coded and entered payables and receivables in QuickBooks against the company’s chart of accounts.
Built the year-end profit & loss statement and reviewed it with management to find high-cost areas to cut.
Served on a cost-reduction committee. I analyzed 100+ line items per supplier, which supported renegotiated pricing and better gross margins.
Streamlined payroll timesheet entry, saving management about 5 hours per week.
Systems I work with:
QuickBooks
Workday Financials
DoorLoop
Acumatica
Excel
Google Workspace
More than an outsourced bookkeeper
Most outsourced accounting is transactional: you send documents, someone you've never spoken to enters them, a report shows up. That's not what I'm building.
I want to know where you're trying to take your business — the property you're hoping to add, the hire you're not sure you can afford yet, the season that always strains cash flow. Clean books are the starting point. The real value is in what they let you decide.
Allaire Accounting is a new business, and I've built it to grow alongside the clients I take on. When your business gets more complex, I want to be the person who already knows the history and can scale with you — not someone you outgrow and have to replace.
How I work
Everything is handled remotely, so it doesn't matter whether you're down the street in Arlington Heights or across the country.
One rate: $55 per hour for every service, whether it's a routine reconciliation or a full year of cleanup. No packages to decode, no surprise line items. You'll get an estimate before I start, and I'll tell you if a job is running long before the hours pile up.
Let’s Talk
