Monthly Bookkeeping
Your books, kept current every month instead of reconstructed every spring. Transactions get categorized while the details are still fresh, accounts stay reconciled, and financial statements arrive on a schedule you can plan around — so you’re making decisions on real numbers, not a gut estimate.
Best for: owners who are behind on their own books, or who’ve outgrown doing it themselves.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
✓ Transaction categorization and coding across bank, credit card, and loan accounts
✓ Chart of accounts setup, cleanup, and maintenance
✓ Monthly financial statements - profit and loss, and cash flow
✓ A recurring check-in to review the numbers and flag anything worth your attention
✓ Accounts payable and receivable tracking
✓ Ongoing account reconciliation
02
Bank & General Ledger Reconciliation
Entered isn’t the same as accurate. Reconciliation is the step that proves your books match reality — every account tied out, every balance verified, and the general ledger reviewed for the small errors that quietly compound into big ones.
Best for: owners who want a second set of eyes on books they or their staff are already maintaining.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
✓ Monthly reconciliation of bank, credit card, and loan accounts
✓ Verification that ledger balances tie to third-party statements
✓ Review of the general ledger for miscoding, duplicates, and unusual activity
✓ Investigation and resolution of outstanding or unexplained items
✓ Intercompany and clearing account reconciliation for multi-entity owners
✓ A written summary of what was reconciled and anything that needs your input
03
Month-End & Year-End Close
A close done on a consistent schedule is what turns bookkeeping into information you can use. Accruals and adjusting entries get posted, accounts get reviewed, and you get a finished set of statements within a set window after period end — every period, not just the ones someone remembered.
Best for: businesses that need reliable monthly reporting, or anyone whose year-end handoff to a tax preparer has been painful.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
✓ Accruals, prepaids, and deferred revenue entries
✓ A year-end package organized for your tax preparer, so they aren’t sending questions back
✓ Balance sheet account review and substantiation
✓ Period-over-period comparison and variance review
✓ Finished financial statements delivered on a defined timeline
✓ Adjusting and reclassifying journal entries
✓ Depreciation and amortization schedules

Cleanup & Catch-Up
Behind on your books, or inherited a mess from a previous provider? This is where most clients start. I’ll rebuild the record from the source documents — no guessing, no plugs to make it balance — and hand you back a set of books you can actually stand behind, whether that’s for a lender, a tax preparer, or your own peace of mind.
Best for: multiple months or years behind, a switch in bookkeepers, or an upcoming loan application or filing deadline.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
✓ Assessment of where the books currently stand, and what it will take to fix them
✓ Reconstruction of unrecorded or miscategorized transactions
✓ Reconciliation of every account back to the last accurate period
✓ Correction of duplicate entries, misapplied payments, and miscoded expenses
✓ Cleanup of the chart of accounts and opening balances
✓ Prior-year financials rebuilt and ready for your tax preparer
✓ A plan to keep the books current going forward
